Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 19, 2026 Last Updated: March 19, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using UIN Wallet. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Overview
UIN Wallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application that allows you to manage, send, and receive USDT on the TRON (TRC-20) and Ethereum (ERC-20) networks. The app runs entirely on your device. UIN does not hold, control, or have access to your funds or private keys.
2. Eligibility
By using UIN Wallet, you represent and warrant that:
- You are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction)
- You have the legal authority to enter into these Terms
- Your use of the app complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
- You are not located in a jurisdiction where the use of cryptocurrency applications is prohibited
3. Self-Custodial Nature of the Service
UIN Wallet is a self-custodial wallet. This means:
- Your seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored only on your device
- UIN has no access to your seed phrase, private keys, or funds
- You are solely responsible for the safekeeping of your seed phrase
- If you lose your seed phrase, your funds cannot be recovered by UIN or anyone else
- Transactions broadcast to the blockchain are irreversible
DANGER
Loss of your seed phrase means permanent loss of access to all funds in your wallet. UIN cannot recover your funds under any circumstances.
4. Cloud Wallet Mode
The optional Cloud Wallet mode is a backend-managed wallet service operated by UIN. When using Cloud Wallet:
- UIN manages the wallet address on your behalf
- Withdrawal requests are subject to backend review before execution
- UIN reserves the right to reject withdrawal requests that violate these Terms or applicable law
- Cloud Wallet is subject to additional operational policies that may be updated from time to time
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use UIN Wallet only for lawful purposes. You must not use the app to:
- Conduct, facilitate, or promote any illegal activity, including money laundering, terrorist financing, or fraud
- Evade sanctions or circumvent applicable financial regulations
- Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or disruptive data
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
6. Network Fees
Transactions on the TRON and Ethereum networks require network fees (TRX or ETH). These fees are paid directly to network validators and are not collected by UIN. Fee estimates shown in the app are approximations and may vary.
For Cloud Wallet withdrawals, a service fee is charged by UIN and deducted from the withdrawal amount. The applicable fee is always disclosed before you confirm a withdrawal.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
UIN Wallet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Accuracy of balance or transaction data displayed
- Security against all potential vulnerabilities
Blockchain networks are operated by independent third parties. UIN is not responsible for any delays, failures, or losses arising from network congestion, forks, or other blockchain-level events.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UIN and its affiliates shall not be liable for any:
- Loss of cryptocurrency or digital assets
- Loss of access due to lost seed phrases or passwords
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Losses arising from your failure to follow security best practices
9. Third-Party Services
UIN Wallet may connect to third-party blockchain nodes, price APIs, or other services. UIN is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of these third-party services.
10. Changes to These Terms
UIN reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through app updates or in-app notices. Continued use of UIN Wallet after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, or, if necessary, binding arbitration in the applicable jurisdiction.
